ABOUT PAPPRI

PAPPRI (Association of Artists, Singers, Songwriters, and Musicians of the Republic of Indonesia) is a professional music organization first established on 27th February 1986. As a formally established professional organization in the field of music, PAPPRI is a legal entity registered in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia and is listed with the Directorate General of National Unity and Politics, Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

Over time, the PAPPRI organization has continued to grow, and as of now, it has successfully established 24 Regional Leadership Councils (RLC) at the provincial level. The officially formed RLCs are in the provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Riau Islands, Riau, Jambi, Bengkulu, Lampung, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, and West Papua.

In addition, PAPPRI has also established several Branch Leadership Councils (BLC) at the district/city level, in accordance with the decision made during the PAPPRI National Working Meeting in 2016 in Ambon. The decision stipulated that each Regional Leadership Council (RLC) is required to form BLCs, at least 50% + 1, within its operational area.
